14:24
Fourteen minutes and twenty-four seconds. That is 1% of your day.
That thing you want to better at? Your mindset, leadership, health, relationship, culture, influence, a specific skill. What would spending 14:24 on it each day look like? How much better would you be at it in 3 days (43:12), seven days (1:40:48), 30 days (7:12:00), 365 days (3:15:36:00)?
Think about that. 14 minutes and 24 seconds per day, every day for one year, is still just only 3 full days of actual effort. Doesn’t sound that crazy.
So again, what is the one thing you currently want to get better at? What’s the one thing that needs to improve? Write down what working on that for 14:24 per day looks like, and commit to it. Put it on your calendar. Do it every morning, every day at lunch, before you go to bed. It doesn’t matter, just schedule it and do it.
Stop hoping to get better. Start working on it.
