I saw a quote recently, some say by Mark Twain but it is debated, that “the man who doesn’t read has no appreciable advantage over the man who cannot read.”

This certainly applies to more than just reading.

You have talents. You have gifts. You have superpowers. And yet if you are like most, you tuck them away and hit autopilot each day. Doing fine work, but not leveraging your gifts for the good of yourself and those around you.

Don’t let your superpowers go to waste. If Superman doesn’t use his powers, he’s not Superman. He’s just some guy. He still matters. He’s still valuable. But his potential and his impact are diminished. He becomes a “what if?”

Potential doesn’t create impact. Using it does.
Show up on purpose.
