Almost Quitting

Wednesday, October 15
Everybody has moments where they hit a wall.
The vision was clear. They had a plan. They were excited.
But then progress slowed and resistance increased. The work felt heavier than you expected. Wins were few and far between.
It’s in this moment that quitting isn’t just tempting, it feels logical.
“Maybe this just isn’t working.”
“Maybe I’m not the right person for this.”
“Maybe this is the sign to let it go.”
Those are the almost quitting moments. And they matter.
Think back on any meaningful season of growth, leadership, or impact in your life.
Chances are there was a moment (or many moments) of struggle. There was a wall you had to break through.
The last rep before the PR.
The week before the culture finally started to shift.
The 25th job interview before finally getting hired.
The hard conversation that changed the relationship.
The wall isn’t the end. It’s the hinge point.
Almost quitting moments clarify why you started.
They strip away the early hype of an idea and force a choice.
Most people walk away when they hit the wall.
The best don’t.
They dig in.
They stay faithful.
They keep doing the work.
They know that a breakthrough is coming, and the other side of it is worth the pain of the current moment.
Maybe that’s you today. Keep going.
