Attention

I’m booking out my fall speaking tour now. School kick-offs, fall camp, sales meetings, retreats, etc. Have a couple of spots left for the summer as well. Reply to this email to get on the calendar to invest in your team in the areas of mindset, leadership and performance.

Not everything needs your attention.

In a world that constantly begs for your attention, knowing what to ignore can be a superpower.

It’s easy to get distracted by noise, negativity, or even good things that aren’t essential to your mission. The most effective leaders have a filter. They decide what deserves their focus and what doesn’t.

Here’s the truth: Every time you say yes to something unimportant, you’re saying no to something that matters. You’re delaying your progress.

The most resilient people aren’t just good at working hard, they’re great at working hard on what matters. They know they don’t get time back so they use their time wisely.

Today, do a focus audit. Ask yourself:

  • What’s pulling your attention away from your priorities?

  • What’s worth ignoring?

  • What would happen if you gave your best energy only to the things that matter most?

Ignore the noise. Build your focus. Make progress.
