Attract and Repel

Friday, July 12

It won’t be easy to live your standards.
It will cost you to live your convictions.
People will leave when you choose to stay on your path.

It can be frustrating, it can make you question yourself and others, and at times it can be lonely.

But what I’ve found is that when you stick to your path, the wrong people are the ones who bail. Those who want to be comfortable, who want things to be easy, those who are about convenience, will slowly fade away. It hurts, but it’s part of the process.

Yet the right people will find you. Committed people attract committed people. High standard people attract high standard people. Over time, you will find yourself surround by those who are like you. People who refuse to settle, who refuse to cater to comfort, who choose to stay on the path.

The goal is to stay in it until you are in that place, with those people.

Greatness repels average and attracts greatness. Don’t waver.
