Become the Coach You've Always Wanted to Be: The Key to Personal and Team Potential

Saturday, February 17

A Saturday email? I know. I like to keep these Monday-Friday. But I wanted to take a minute to talk about something important we just launched for coaches. (If you don’t work in sports, you can skip today’s email. Unless you know a coach, then read on and share with them)

As a team, we've had the privilege to work with some of the best coaches across the country, from top-rated Power 5 programs to high school teams. We understand the challenges they face in their line of work and try to assist them in every possible way. We listen to their struggles, their thoughts, and their problems, and then we act as trusted advisors to help them get better.

Coaches are currently in a state of frustration and exhaustion. However, they remain committed to their work because they care deeply about making a difference and unlocking the potential of young people. Unfortunately, this is becoming increasingly difficult. As a result, their teams are also suffering.

When we ask coaches what they are doing to overcome these challenges, we get a few common responses. They read books, attend conferences, and bring in a speaker. While these are good things, they do not lead to lasting change. What coaches need is a system that will help them achieve their goals.

Many people make New Year's resolutions, but most give up on them by February. Why? It's not because they lack the resources or intelligence, but because they don't have a plan.

The same is true for coaches. They want to be great leaders and build effective staff, but they don't have a plan to get there. That's where the Coach Performance Playbook comes in. We've worked with coaches across the country to create a plan that focuses on leading self, staff, and team. It's an on-demand system that provides content, tools, assessments, and systems for the offseason, pre-season, and season.

Using the Coach Performance Playbook will make you a better and healthier leader. It will create more clarity and commitment on your team and lead to a stronger, more connected culture. We're even giving part of it away for free because we believe it's the playbook that coaches need for personal and team performance.
