Believe better

Thursday, May 1
If you’re like most people, you spend way too much time worried about what other people think of you.
How you look.
What you said.
What you didn’t say.
What they might be saying behind your back.
Whether you’re good enough, smart enough, talented enough.
It’s wasted energy.
What really matters is this: what do you think about you?
Because how you think about yourself determines how you show up.
It shapes your confidence, your effort, your resilience, and your results.
If you think you’re not good enough, you’ll play it safe.
If you think you don’t belong, you’ll hold back.
If you think you’re failing, you’ll start proving yourself right.
But if you think you’re capable of growing, of leading, of getting better, you’ll act like it.
And your life will start to follow.
It’s like the old Harry Truman quote: “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.”
So maybe it’s time to stop asking, “What do they think about me?” and start asking,
“What do I believe about me. And is the way I think about me helping me grow?”
Believe better about yourself. It’s not about ego. It’s about humble confidence.
