Change the room

Thursday, December 14

One person can change a room.

One person can walk in with a bad attitude. Barely engage in conversation. Be negative or overly critical when they do. Not make eye contact or seem to have an interest in anyone or the topic being discussed. Or they could engage and make everything about them, what they want, what they think. Completely dismissive of others. And it will make it a bad experience for everyone involved.

One person can walk in with a good attitude. Contribute to a conversation in a healthy way, even in disagreements. Encourage people. Believe the best in the outcomes. Be invested in what’s going on. And it will make it a good experience for everyone involved.

One person can change a room. Take ownership of the energy you bring with you. Take ownership of your impact.
