We don't act our way into who we are - we live out who we believe we are.
If you believe you're inconsistent, you'll keep quitting. If you believe you're undisciplined, you'll keep choosing comfort. If you believe you're average, you'll keep playing small.
Your identity becomes your autopilot. Your choices are just following the script. The brain doesn’t filter what we tell it, it simply accepts it.
Want to change your habits? Change the narrative. Start telling yourself: "I'm someone who follows through. I'm someone who shows up, even when it's hard. I'm someone who doesn't make excuses."
This isn't about pretending. It's about aligning your actions with the truth of who you can be - not who you've been.
Change your story, and your story will change.
So today, don't just modify your behavior. Upgrade your identity. Live like the person you're becoming - until you become them.
Pick one identity statement. Write it down. Then ask yourself: "What would this person do right now?" Then act on it.
