Chasing Approval

Monday, October 9

Can you do the work when you aren’t rewarded by others?
Can you do the work when others don’t acknowledge it?

This need for validation from others derails the progress of most people. They are doing the work they need to do, making the progress they need to make, getting the results they said they wanted, yet nobody takes the time to notice. And so they quit.

You don’t need their approval to keep going.
You don’t need their applause to get better.
You don’t need their recognition to make progress.

How they feel doesn’t get to determine how you show up. Be about your progress, not their validation.
