Check your aim

Monday, March 11

What is your goal for the day? For this week? For this month? For this year? What is it that you are trying to accomplish or get better at?

When you have a goal, you have something to aim for. Something to guide your decisions.

Without a goal we take our foot off the gas. It’s like a team that plays to not lose rather than playing to win. Playing to not lose results in you being passive, not playing to your strengths, simply trying to avoid mistakes. Playing to win requires that you be intentional, that you focus, that you do what it takes to move forward.

If you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it every time. Show up on purpose today.
