Choose growth

Wednesday, July 23

When things don’t work out, most people default to one of two things:

Blame. Or quit.

As someone said to me recently, “it’s easier to doubt than to have faith.” Both blame and quitting are easy. Both lead nowhere good.

But there’s a better option: growth. You can, in every situation, choose growth.

Growth says:
This isn’t how the story ends. I’ll learn. I’ll adapt. I’ll get better. This is happening for me.

Growth is always a choice that is available to you. It’s not automatic. It doesn’t just show up with time or experience. You have to choose it. When your feelings say otherwise, when the situation is difficult, when it’s not going your way, you choose it.

You don’t get lucky.
You get intentional.

So if something didn’t work out? Cool. Welcome to the path.
Don’t stop there, though. Don’t stay stuck.

Choose growth.
