Curious

Tuesday, June 16
In most difficult situations, we are quick to come to a negative conclusion.
“This conversation won’t go well.”
“They won’t listen.”
“This isn’t going to work.”
“I can’t handle this.”
“There’s no options.”
What if, instead of being quick to label the situation or person and shut it down, you were curious? Curiosity means to approach difficult moments with open hands. To consider a new perspective. To believe better is possible
“What could I learn in this?”
“What could be happening that maybe I’m not aware of?”
“What could I understand more about them to help the situation?”
“What if there are things we/I haven’t considered?”
“How could this help me?”
Curiosity leads to new insights, new perspectives, new learnings, new growth, new opportunities.
Be curious.
