Elephants and truth

Monday, March 16
There is an old story about a baby elephant who was tied to a pole in the middle of a village. As a youngster, it wasn’t strong enough to break loose.
As it got older, its mindset never chained. Though it was a grown elephant, and obviously had immense strength, it still believed it only had the power of a baby elephant. So it stayed tied to the pole in the middle of the village.
This is what our limiting beliefs do to us. They keep us from using the power we have, from unlocking the potential within us. They keep us living and playing small. The lies keep us from stepping into who we were created to be.
Take some time to test your beliefs. To see what’s true, to see what is a lie that you’ve believed to be true for too long, to see what was once a truth but no longer is. Then replace those with the truth.
Don’t let your thoughts about yourself be the thing that limits you. Step into your potential.
