Ending and Beginnings

We’re in the process of moving offices right now. It’s always an interesting process. As you empty out one space, you are flooded with memories. Things you had forgotten start to bubble up. Conversations that were had, work that was done, impact that was made, growth that happened.

And moving forces you to ask questions.

What do we need to take to the next space?
What is necessary?
This served us well here, but will it serve us well there?

And as you start to set up the new space, you dream of what could be. You think of the work that will be done, the conversations that will be had, the impact that will be made, the growth that will happen.

And you ask yourself questions.

What do we want this to be like?
How can this space best serve us?
How can we optimize it for our benefit?

It’s like this with the beginning and ending of things. Jobs, offices, years. You reflect on, remember and celebrate what was, and you make a plan for what will be.

Take some time over the next week to do just that. Remember the good of 2025. Remember what challenged you, what made you better, what moved you. And then think about what you want 2026 to be. Think about who you want to be in 2026.

What habits served you in 2025 that won’t in 2026?
What changes do you need to make?
How can you be intentional to get better in the new year?

End on purpose. Begin on purpose. Live intentionally.
