You have to do ordinary things extraordinarily well.

Show up.
Prepare.
Practice.
Pay attention.
Do the boring work.
Repeat it when nobody is impressed.

Greatness is rarely built through something fancy or dramatic.

It is usually built through a commitment to the unsexy, unglamorous fundamentals.

The basics aren’t beneath you. They are what everything else is built on.

Be the best at the basics.
