Eyes forward. Blinders on.

The past is over. Whatever happened, happened. You can’t change it, no matter how much you think about it. You don’t get a do-over. What’s done is done.

You have what you have. Not what others have. Not what you want or wish you had, but what you have. In this moment. Truth is, even if you did have what they have it wouldn’t make you happier.

I’ve found that for most people, anxiety and frustration comes from focusing on the past and focusing on what they don’t have. Two things you don’t have control over.

What you do have control over is this moment. You don’t have to be where you want to be in order to be grateful. You can be grateful for this very moment. You can’t change what was done but you can take action today to move in the right direction.

Focus on what you have and what you can do. Eyes forward. Blinders on.

Make progress a priority.
