Failing

Friday, March 27

Quick announcement: Fired up to be speaking at an event at the Final Four with my friends from Peak Sports Mgmt. If you are leader in sports, this event is open and available to you. If you’re in the sports world and interested, reply to this email (or the email in the image). Hope to see you in Indy!

You failed?
You fell short?
You got rejected?
You lost?

Congrats. This means you are in the arena, doing the work, making the effort. You aren’t sitting on the sidelines hoping for the best (and wondering why things aren’t working out), you are going for it.

And not only did you try, now you have something to learn from. You can’t learn from effort you didn’t give. You can’t learn from outcomes you didn’t pursue. Failing is data. It allows you to look in the mirror and see how you can get better.

This is the journey and process of growth. Perform. Fail. Learn. Adapt. Prepare. Perform. Repeat.

Failure is necessary. Let it be a catalyst for your growth.
