A formula for potential

What’s in your way?
There’s a formula that author Tim Gallwey uses in his book called The Inner Game of Work (you may also be familiar with his other outstanding book, The Inner Game of Tennis, that addresses what is keeping you from unlocking your potential. It goes like this:
P = p - i
Potential = performance - interference
Essentially, your potential is what you are capable of if you remove the obstacles in your way. The question is, what is interfering with your potential? Is it your lack of skill, is it your mindset, is it your lack of time-management, is it your discipline, is it somebody else? When you identify your obstacles, then you must work to either remove or minimize them.
Today may be a day to do some surgery. Cut out what’s getting in your way so that you can become who you were meant to be.
