Inside out

There’s a Latin phrase I came across lately that I’ve been thinking about: Ab intra.

It means from within.

A lot of what we want is external.

Better results.
Bigger opportunities.
Recognition.
Winning.

Not necessarily bad things. Really, we want the fruit of our efforts. But what eventually shows up on the outside is often the result of what is happening inside, where nobody can see.

Your preparation.
Your discipline.
Your beliefs.
Your confidence.
Your resilience.

It isn’t always fun, but that is where the real work starts. Those are the roots that produce the fruit. Leadership, life, influence, confidence, culture, mindset - all are built from the inside out. The invisible becomes visible.

Ab intra. Do the work within today.
