Keep Chopping Wood. Monday, August 14

Monday, August 14

You can run a 4.5 forty-yard dash.
You can bench 200 pounds.
You have a 40-inch vertical jump.
You have a lot of money in the bank.
You drive a nice car.
You have a big house.
You got a promotion last month.

None of that matters when adversity hits. Adversity does not care about your accomplishments, physical skills, possessions, or who you know. Those are all external things.

Adversity is not about what’s on the outside. Adversity is about what’s on the inside. Because when obstacles arrive on your doorstep, what matters is how you think. How fast, strong, and wealthy you are won’t help. Do you have resilience, perseverance, hope, belief, commitment, and discipline?

Those who win in the long run are those who pursue and develop internal strength. Make your mindset your advantage.
