Keep Chopping Wood. Tuesday, August 8

Tuesday, August 8

The world has embraced average.

Most people are okay just going through the motions. They are okay with only doing the work when they feel like it. They believe it’s acceptable to do the bare minimum. That checking the box is good enough. Fear and ego rule the day.

Which means it’s easier than ever to make an impact, stand out, and get an edge. All it takes is that you show up on purpose. That you live your standards and not your feelings. That you do what’s best, not what’s easiest. That you don’t just do what’s required to get the job done, you do what’s necessary for it to be great.

Just because the world has embraced mediocrity doesn’t mean you have to. Live into your potential.
