Love and fear

Speaking season is picking up. In the next couple of months I’ll be serving leaders and teams in AZ, TX, AL, GA, KS, LA and more. If you need a keynote, a staff training, a retreat - in-person or virtual - shoot me a note.

The operating system every leader runs on is fear. And as a result, this is the operating system every team/organization runs on.
Fear of not being good enough.
Fear of not having enough.
Fear of failing.
Fear of what others will think if they fail.
Fear of getting passed by the competition.
Fear of their fear being exposed.
Which is why everyone is exhausted. Fear is not good fuel. It makes you operate out of scarcity, it makes you focus only on yourself and what you can get. And it makes the work - and the people - just a means to an unsatisfying end.
What if, instead, you operated out of love? Not soft, all in your feelings, uncomfortable love.
But love for yourself.
Love for others.
Love for what you have.
Love for the process.
Love for the opportunities.
Love for the learnings.
You would be energized. You would be selfless. You would realize there is enough. You would be free. And things would be better.
Feel fear. Choose to lead from love.
