Nobody cares

Tuesday, July 29
There’s something freeing about realizing this: nobody cares.
Nobody cares that you’re waking up early.
Nobody cares that you’re staying disciplined.
Nobody cares that you’re sacrificing comfort, keeping your word, doing the hard things.
They’re not clapping.
They’re not watching.
They’re not impressed.
Why? Because they are consumed with themselves. And that’s exactly why it matters. We must be able to do what’s necessary without needing the approval or attention of others.
The gym at 5 a.m.
The reps no one sees.
The self-talk before the meeting.
The coaching you are getting to identify blind spots.
The work isn’t glamorous.
But it’s where confidence is formed.
Where character is shaped.
Where your future self is built.
So if you’re doing the work today and nobody’s noticing…good.
You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Be proud of yourself. Then keep going.
