Are you willing to be challenged?

This is the actually the secret to unlocking your potential.
You can have willpower. You can have discipline. You can be motivated. You can have good intent. You can put in the work.

But if you aren’t willing to be challenged, to consider feedback, you will waste time and energy working hard the wrong way on the wrong things and moving in the wrong direction.

To reject feedback is to decide that nobody in the world knows better than you. And that is a fast track to losing influence and progress. Because if you can’t be challenged, you can’t be trusted.

Growth requires that you embrace feedback.
