Ownership
Thursday, August 1
Where in your life are you blaming other people?
Maybe it’s your boss for you not getting promoted. Maybe it’s a colleague for getting a new opportunity you wanted.
Maybe it’s your parents.
Maybe it’s your spouse.
Maybe it’s your organization.
Now, what would change if you took ownership of that situation? If you held yourself accountable? If you decided that others aren’t responsible for the outcomes you want and the reality you find yourself in and decided you are responsible.
Because you are. Sitting around blaming others for your dissatisfactions is a great way to be constantly dissatisfied. You are ensuring that your situation never gets better.
Today, take ownership. Hold yourself accountable. Be responsible for the way you show up.
