Past and Future Habits

Your previous (and current) habits got you here. To the place you are in today. Whether it be health, relationships, finances, career, mindset, etc. What you did consistently over the last week, month, 6 months, year, 5 years, got you to this place.

And those habits will keep you on this trajectory. So if you don’t like where you are today, chances are you won’t like where you are next month, in 6 months, in one year, in five years. That is, if you don’t change your habits.

If you want to be in a different place, you must do different things. And rather than waste time beating yourself up over old, bad habits, just build new, better ones.

You’ve already shown that you can establish habits. Might as well establish habits that make you better.
