Perfect system

I was talking with a friend recently about his goals for 2026. I asked if he’d started on them yet. “No, I still can’t find a system I like.”

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard that (and for every time I’ve said it myself)….

The perfect system for your goals does not exist. Repeat that until you believe and understand it. There is no perfect system. No system is designed specifically for your personality, your life, your location, schedule, your resources, your goals, your age, your reality., etc

The system that works is the system you can execute. The system you can consistently do. And that system? It’s mostly just showing up and doing the work. Schedule a time and don’t negotiate. Do what you said you would do. Do what is required.

If you’re waiting for perfect to get better, you are only putting yourself in position to lose.

Just do the work.
