Stop waiting.

Too many people I meet with are waiting. They are waiting for the promotion to start acting like a leader. They are waiting for the next season before they start working on their health. They are waiting until an opportunity arises to start working on their culture. They are waiting until they have “enough” to start working on the project they know needs working on.

Stop waiting. Because even when you get to that next level, the next season, the next opportunity, the “right” time, you’ll find a reason why it’s still not right. You’ll put off the action until the next fake benchmark arrives. And then you’ll do it again.

Stop waiting. Start working. You know what you need to do. Do it.
