The Other 1%

We talk often about the idea of getting 1% better every day. It’s a reminder that growth is slow, steady and simple. Small steps over time get us where we want to be.

But the opposite is also true. Getting 1% worse each day compounds over time, taking us way off our desired path.

We don’t end up in the wrong place overnight, we get there over time. Every excuse, every delayed action, every compromise, every time we let fear or doubt or insecurity win. 1% off the path. 1% further away from our potential.

Sometimes getting better is less about the action we do take, and more about the action we avoid.

Stay on the path today.
