Their opinion

Today marks 6 years since the book this newsletter is titled after was released to the world. Yesterday, it was back on Amazon’s best-seller list. It has made its way around the world, from sports teams to school systems, healthcare to law enforcement, insurance to tech, marketing to government. I’ve lost count of how many organizations use it as part of their new employee on-boarding process. If you don’t have a copy, get it here.

I don’t think a single person on their deathbed has uttered the statement, “I’m glad I let the opinions of others keep from me taking risks, pursuing my passion and reaching my potential.”
We spend so much time being afraid of what others will think. The cost is our peace, our potential, our impact. What if, instead, we feared not becoming our best?
People will think whatever they think. Their insecurity, their opinion, their journey, their perspective is not your problem.
Let your purpose be greater than your fear of man.
