What are you thinking?

Monday, May 20

Keep Chopping Wood, my book that inspired this newsletter, turned 5 yesterday. It’s been around the world, sold thousands of copies, and impacted hundreds of teams and organizations. I can’t believe any of that is true, but I’m so grateful that it is. Thanks for supporting and spreading the messag. If you don’t have it yet, get it here. (if you do have it, get a copy for someone you think could benefit from it). And for those curious, the new book is done. Just need to get the design finished and get it out to the world. More soon.

We talk about habits a lot. Habits shape your present and determine your future. We are what we repeatedly do.

This is true in everything. How you eat, how you sleep, how you exercise, how you communicate, how you work, how you prepare, how you spend money, how you spend time.

The more important habit, though, is how you think. It’s the habit that drives every other habit. None of them will change unless how you think changes. And the thing you need to change the most is how you think about yourself.

You become what you repeatedly think about yourself.

To become your best, you must believe that you are capable and worthy of it. And you must repeat that to yourself daily. Start today.
