Thinking and Doing

Monday, August 26

Most people around you are thinking about getting better. They know something is off, they know where they are struggling, they know where they need to improve.

They think about it often. It frustrates them. It annoys them. It, at times, consumes them. You might be this way.

The problem is that they don’t do anything other than think about it. They don’t take action. They don’t take a step. Why? Because they are thinking about their past, not their future. They are thinking about the problem, not the possibility.

You know you need to get better. You know what needs to be better. But do you have a vision for what “better” looks like? Establish that, then you can take a step toward it.

Enough thinking about the problem. Be about taking action.
