Time and results

Thursday, April 23

The outcomes you get are a result of where you spend your effort.

That can be a harsh truth for many of us. But if you don’t like the reality around you, look at what you spend your time on. Not what you think you spend your time on, but what you actually spend your time on.

We spend time gossipping.
We spend time complaining.
We spend time comparing.
We spend time making excuses.
We spend time delaying the work or conversation.
We spend time fearing the work or the outcome.

And that use of time leads to the outcomes most people create every day. Outcomes of frustration, disappointment, feeling stuck, not making progress, of feeling less than.

If you want better results, be intentional with where you spend your effort.
